A major part of the scheme has been to complete 140 Farm Risk Assessments with farmers across Connemara. 
The assessment forms walk the farmer through the main areas of the yard and farm where risks commonly occur and ask questions that they must consider to ensure they are operating as safely as possible.

Any risks identified are registered in the Farm Safety Action Plan and are addressed in order of priority.
